Several area groups and organizations, whether it be adults or kids, are continuing to show their support for the West Ohio Food Bank.
In April, we received a $500 donation from the Builder’s Club at Lima City Schools South Science and Technology Magnet School. Our COO, Wayne Steed, was on hand to accept the donation.
Also in April, the UAW Local #1765 donated $500, as they presented a check to WOFB Communications and Public Relations Manager Jason Aldrich in our lobby. These are workers at the Dana Plant in Lima, which is in the process of closing down at the end of 2025.
We continue to see a growing interest in groups and organizations wanting to assist in any way they can, whether its hosting a food drive, collecting money, or volunteering with several tasks that we have the opportunity to offer.
