What to Expect
West Ohio Food Bank provides meals to our neighbors who need them most by providing and distributing meals to assist children, seniors and families who are currently experiencing food insecurity.
Food provided by WOFB can also be found at senior centers, schools, local food pantries and others within the rural/urban areas of the 11-county service area.
What is a food distribution?
Drive-thru distributions provide an efficient & convenient way for neighbors in need of food assistance, to receive food, without having to leave their vehicles. Neighbors receive shelf-stable foods, meats, dairy products, fresh fruits, vegetables and other items. Most food distributions require an individual to pre-register to attend. Scheduling allows food bank staff & volunteers adequately serve vehicles attending as quickly as possible.
There are times when WOFB will host unplanned, no registration required, “pop-up” food distributions. These are open to all residents within the 11 County service area.
Who is eligible? How does someone sign up?
Anyone in need of food assistance must complete a (“Take Food Home Eligibility Form” self-declaration eligibility form) to take food home.
