The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) visited the West Ohio Food Bank in Lima on April 22, 2025.
Reporter Caitriona Perry and Photographer/Producer Claire Betzer toured the food bank, and then did a live update on the BBC’s streaming news service.
CEO Tommie Harner and Lima City Council member Carla Thompson were interviewed. The focus was covering areas of the USA where the majority of voters in specific midwestern cities voted for Donald Trump in the Presidential Election back in November 2024.
Harner and Thompson focused on health and human services, recent tariffs, and continuing to serve those most in need in our communities.
